Membership and Meetings


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NHS Board decided at their virtual April meeting that for the safety for all concerned, the May 2020 potluck dinner meeting and program would be cancelledAs of this issue of the Crier, the NHS anticipates holding the annual potluck dinner and business meeting in October, but one week later than usual. The tentative date for the fall meeting will be Sunday, October 25Of course, this all depends on how the pandemic progresses and what guidelines we will be under for continued safety.


The Society's members get together for two potluck dinners a year: May and the annual business meeting in October.
At the October meeting officers and board members are elected to serve various lengths of terms.
 Membership runs from Oct. 1 - Sept. 30. Dues include the Dog River Crier newsletter (published twice a year beginning in 2020):
Household        $25.00
Business           $50.00
Lifetime             $250.00  (All Lifetime membership dues will go directly to the Endowment Fund.)
